National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery abbreviated as NEET MDS is an entrance exam conducted by NBE for providing admissions to all the postgraduate dental courses offered by the institutions in India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET-MDS 2023

BDS degree from a Dental College recognized by the Government of India under the Dentist Act, 1948.
Should have obtained provisional or permanent BDS registration.
Completed one year (12 months) of compulsory rotatory internship or undergoing rotary internship is unlikely to complete by the cut off in an approved /recognized Dental College to be eligible to appear in NEET-MDS 2023.
A Registration with State Dental Councils is necessary, and its documentary proof has to be furnished at the time of counseling.
A candidate can register and appear for NEET-MDS 2023 only once for admission to the academic year 2023-2024

NEET-MDS WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

All India 50% quota MDS seats for all States/Union territories of India.
State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
MDS Courses at all Private Dental Colleges, Institutions & Universities across the country. No State Government/Private Dental College/Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MDS Courses.
MDS Courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
Screening exam for dental surgeons (BDS & MDS) for Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps

THE FOLLOWING DENTAL INSTITUTIONS ARE NOT COVERED BY CENTRALIZED ADMISSIONS FOR MDS SEATS THROUGH NEET- MDS:

HOW TO FILL THE NEET MDS 2023 APPLICATION FORM

Step 1: Registration

Go to the official website of NBE – nbe.edu.in
Click on “NEET-MDS”
In the Links section, click on “New Registration”
Enter the following details
1. Name of Candidate
2. Date of Birth
3. Gender (Male/Female)
4. Nationality (Indian/Others)
5. Mobile Number
6. Email Address
7. Captcha
Check the details for errors
Click on “submit”
User Id and password will be sent to the registered email Id and mobile number.

Step 2: Filling the application form.

Login using the “Applicant Login” section
Enter the user Id and password
Click on “Go to application form”
Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Mobile number and Email address will be pre-filled in the application form.
Enter personal details such as :
1. Father’s Name
2. Mother’s Name
3. Select the Category (General/SC/ST/OBC)
4. Are you a person with Disability (Yes/No)
5. Identification Details
6. Communication Address
On completion of this section, click on “Save and Next”On completion of this section, click on “Save and Next”
Enter qualification details such as :
1. 10+2 equivalent exam details
2. BDS / Primary Medical Qualification details
  - Country of completion of BDS Qualification
  - Name of Country
  - State of completion
  - City of completion
  - University of completion
  - University name
  - Name of college
  - Month and Year of Passing
3. Internship Details
4. SDC/DCI Registration Details
Once this section is complete, click on “Save and Next”
Choose the desire NEET MDS test Centre

Step 3: Upload the documents.

Step 4 : Payment of the NEET MDS 2023 application fee

Choose the desired payment method
Pay the requisite amount of fee

Step 5: Save and print a copy of the NEET MDS application form 2023 and payment receipt.

EXAMINATION FEE :

General and OBC category candidates Rs. 4250/-

SC, ST and PWD category candidates Rs. 3250/-

THE LAST DATE TO FILL AND SUBMIT THE APPLICATION FORM FOR NEET MDS 2023 IS 30TH JANUARY. THE SHOULD CANDIDATES TO PAY A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.
