NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS courses. Qualifying NEET-MDS is mandatory for entry to MDS courses under various Universities/Institutions in the country.

The date for NEET-MDS 2025 is not yet announced, it is expected to be scheduled to the mid of March 2025, and the application forms will be available online from last week of January 2025. The application process will be open for about a month, expecting the deadlines to be around the fourth week of February. The deadlines may subjected to vary on student requests or any other situations. To submit the application, the applicants have to visit the official website of the exam, nbe.edu.in .

The official announcements regarding NEET-MDS 2025 is yet to be released by NBEMS. Once the official date is announced, the following steps should be followed while submitting the application.

Candidate for NEET-MDS should have,

• A degree of bachelor in dental surgery awarded by university or institution in india and registered with state dental council
• Has obtained provisional or permanent registration from the state dental council
• Has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved or recognised dental college

A candidate who after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by the prescribed cut-off date for internship completion.

FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM

The form should be filled after careful reading of the Information bulletin for NEET MDS 2025, which will be releasing by last week of January.
Read the below instructions carefully before filling up the form

1. The Candidate has to first “register” to receive the User ID and Password.
2. Candidate will receive the User ID and Password on the registered email address and/or on the registered mobile number.
3. After successful registration, candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form.
4. Candidate must provide Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Mobile Number, Email Address & Test City correctly as these details cannot be changed once the registration is completed

The application submission process can be completed either in a single sitting or in multiple sittings, as per the candidate’s choice, during the application submission window. However, once an application is successfully completed & submitted, it shall be available for editing certain field only during the “edit window”.

The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form

• Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scanned signature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents.
• Choose your Test City and pay Examination Fee
• Agree to the declaration and Submit Application

Take a print out of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it and payment status mentioned as “S” (Successful) for records.
