NEET MDS Counselling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET MDS 2024 counselling schedule at mcc.nic.in. As per the MCC NEET MDS 2024 counselling schedule, round one registrations will begin on July 1. A total of three rounds will be conducted in NEET MDS counselling 2024, followed by a stray round.

MCC will conduct counselling for the following Institutions/Universities:–

• 50% All India Quota seats of all states (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats).
• 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.
• 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
• 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
• All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).
• Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).

Students may note the following points:–

1. For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2020 candidates are required to go for Registration at official website of Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in)
2. Candidates to note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security Deposit have to be paid by the candidate at the time of registration as per their category.
3. The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Round-2 / Mop Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited.
4. Reservation of seats under PwD Category will be 5% as per Gazette Notification of MCI.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE VIEWED ON

• According to the NEET MDS 2024 counselling schedule released by the MCC, there will be a total of three rounds of counselling, followed by a final round of online-stray vacancy round in the month of September.
• The participating institutes will verify the tentative seat matrix from June 29, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
• This stage ensures that the seat allocation information is accurate before the counseling process begins.
• Candidates must register and make the necessary payments between July 1, 2024, and July 7, 2024, up to 12:00 NOON only (as per server time).
• The payment facility will be available until 3:00 PM on July 7, 2024 (as per server time).
• This step is crucial as only registered candidates who have completed the  payment will be eligible to participate in the choice filling and seat allotment process.
• From July 2, 2024, to July 7, 2024, candidates can fill their choices.
• Choice filling will be available until 11:55 PM on July 7, 2024 (as per server time). The choice locking will start from 4:00 PM on July 7, 2024, until 11:55 PM on July 7, 2024 (as per server time).
• During this period, candidates must lock their preferences for courses and colleges.
• The processing of seat allotment will take place from July 8, 2024, to July 9, 2024. During this stage, the system will allocate seats to candidates based on their preferences and merit.
• The results of the seat allotment will be declared on July 10, 2024.
• Candidates will be informed about their allocated seats, and they must proceed to the next step accordingly.
• Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective institutes from July 11, 2024, to July 17, 2024.
• This stage involves completing the admission formalities and securing the seat.
• Verification of joined candidates data.
• Finally, the verification of joined candidates’ data by the institutes and sharing of this data with the MCC will occur from July 18, 2024, to July 19, 2024.
• This step ensures that all admissions are accurately recorded and verified.
